Very interesting. It would be helpful to see your assignment (that you placed after the performances) before the performances as well. And pause on that shot long enough for even your slower readers to be able to read it.
Do you have access to the music track? If so, it needs to be lessened in the second and third sections so the words can be better understood.
How do you plan to share this with your students? One section at a time? Or all at once?
Do you plan to video your students performances?
